South College Street Junction Improvements
WMD’s works at South College Street Aberdeen are nearing completion.
As part of Aberdeen City Councils ‘city centre masterplan’ to improve commuting time to and from the city, South College Street has been substantially complete since July 2023.
Our infrastructure works for the project presented us with a lot of challenges along the way - including extensive traffic management in the city, excavation of existing carriageways, excavating/laying multiple new service tracks & constructing a new and improved road layout.
The improvements made doesn’t only benefit motorists, but also for cyclists and pedestrians as a new cycle lane has been constructed along with widened footways.
Further minor works to the area are set to be complete by the end of 2023.
