Contracts Manager

WM Donald are looking for self-motivated individuals, with previous experience in similar roles, who are looking to broaden their careers to work within a dynamic and expanding company. The successful individuals will have to demonstrate flexibility, motivation and commitment to providing a quality service.

As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible to organise and be responsible for the successful delivery of all nominated construction projects to the time, quality, cost & revenue targets contained within the business plan. On a day to day basis, you will work closely with the individual site teams & the client’s representative & to ensure control of H&S on all nominated projects.

Key Responsibilities

Review of Project Design and Specification.

Attend site design, review and progress meetings.

Carrying out site Audits and act on the findings.

Direct point of contact between the client and the company.

Receiving and assessing design changes from the client.

Facilitate agreement of variations.

Ensure adherence with the company Skills and Competence Policy and Procedures.

Organising labour and plant and materials for a number of projects.

Liaising with other contract Managers to optimize available resources.

To attend Team Briefings.

Deliver tool box talks.

Applicants must hold the Minimum Requirements:

-CSCS Card

-NRSWA Supervisor


-First Aid

-Driving Licence

-Good written and oral communication skills

-Good team management

-Minimum 5 years Site Supervisory experience in civil works

-Results orientated

-Good problem solving skills

Ability to:

-develop new skills.

-work on own initiative

-meet financial and company deadlines.

-work as part of a team.

-Demonstrate an understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

- General IT literacy.
