Westercraigs Estate Road

We were recently successful in being awarded this project by Robertson Homes, Inverness. The works involved were to install a new access road, approx. 880m in length, which was required to provide access from Robertson’s new housing development at the previous Craig Dunain Psychiatric Hospital, Westercraigs to the existing A82.

The works included

  • Initial Earthworks
  • Installation of new road drainage and associated reno mattresses
  • Formation of road and tarring works

Due to the remote location of the works, the contract offered its own challenges, however with relationships being built between ourselves, Client , Designers and local sub-contractors the works were completed on time and on budget.

The road is due to official opening Friday 29th November 2019.
