W M Donald is pleased to announce the start of works on a new residential development in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, delivered for Springfield Homes. WMD is appointed Principal Contractor for the initial phase of the project.
The scheme will see a new residential community take shape on the edge of the Aberdeenshire town, with WMD's team on site from groundworks through to the finishing touches. The package covers site establishment and bulk earthworks, adoptable drainage infrastructure including foul and surface water sewers, and off-site sewer connection works tying the development into the existing network.
WMD will also construct the adoptable roads and shared access drives, porous parking bays, and both adoptable and private footpaths that will serve the new homes, alongside full plotworks — foundations, plot drainage, ducting and ground floors — for each property. The scope extends to coordinating street lighting and service diversion works associated with the existing overhead line, plus external and finishing works such as driveways, garden topsoiling and grass verges, all delivered in line with a dedicated Surface Water Management Plan.
It's a project that draws on the full breadth of WMD's housing development infrastructure expertise, and one the team is proud to be delivering for Springfield Homes in Aberdeenshire.
