FROM THE GROUND UP
 Inverness Intel
W M Donald established a permanent presence in Inverness just over 18 months ago. During that time the workforce has grown to over fifty to accommodate the steady increase in the level of work that has been won.
This growth has meant we have already had to move into an office twice the size. The senior
management team continue to keep a look out for offices with yard space.
Recent recruits have included Jamie Johnstone (Estimator) and trainee QS, Raymond Chen.
The number of enquiries from existing and new customers remains extremely strong which augurs well for the future.
In the last newsletter we focussed on our portfolio of housing projects. The market in Inverness and surrounds remains strong. Projects include Westercraigs (Robertson Homes), Knockomies Brae (Springfield Properties), Culloden West (Scotia Homes) and Slackbuie (Tulloch Homes) which has recently commenced a new phase.
Infrastructure works have included interesting projects in Dornoch and Dalcross. We have recently completed a grant-funded project for Dornoch Area Community Interest Company* (DACIC). Dornoch is a small town with a population of around 3,000 and lies about 40 miles north of Inverness. Works comprised the construction of car, motorhome and coach parking. The aim is to enhance Dornoch town centre and attract new business opportunities.
W M Donald is currently on site at Dalcross Railway Station working for BAM Nuttall.
